I'll stamp all over 'credible fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's bout.

Ex two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really happening.
